BJP leaders listen public grievances

JAMMU, May 11: Former Minister, Sat Sharma today met many deputations as well as individuals who raised different issues at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar.
Ashwani Sharma, former MLA and Sanjay Baru, Urban Local Bodies Cell Incharge, J&K BJP were also present on the occasion.
Deputation from border areas of Jammu as well as Kashmir raised the issue of defunct tube wells and insufficient or absent water supply at the tail end villages for irrigation purpose.
Another deputation said that lift irrigation system is not yet working while still another deputation demanded construction of a community hall at Sarwal.
The visiting deputations further raised issues pertaining to drinking water, electricity, city roads, lanes and drain.
Sat Sharma telephonically talked to some concerned officials and issued letters for others over the public issue.
He said, many times people find it difficult to make direct approach with the concerned officials and the departments regarding their issues and hence the BJP has started the exercise to provide relief to common masses by holding daily grievances camps.
