KATHUA, May 11: Rajbagh Police foiled bovines smuggling bids.
As per official spokesman, a team from Police Station Rajbagh led by SHO Inspector Amit Sangra under the supervision of SDPO Border Pankaj Soodan and SSP Kathua RC Kotwal during checking at Sunjwan Link road intercepted two vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued nine bovine animals from the vehicles, while the cattle smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case FIR Number 97/2022 under Sections 188 IPC Act and 11 PCA Act was registered at Police Station Rajbagh and investigation initiated.
