JAMMU, May 13: Nehru Market Police arrested two persons and recovered sharp edged weapon from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Nehru Market laid a naka near Bikram Chowk and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CX-6660.
During checking police team recovered sharp edged weapon from the possession of two persons travelling in the vehicle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Ashutosh, son of Vijay Kumar of Nanak Nagar District Jammu and Abrash Khan, son of Zakir Hussain of Birpur.
A case under FIR Number 110/2021 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
