Srinagar, May 14: Police in Budgam today said to have arrested a teenager involved in stabbing a person in the Chadoora area of Budgam.
“Yesterday, at about 2130hrs, Police in Budgam received information that a scuffle broke out between Mehrosh Parvaiz son of Parvaiz Ahmad Rather resident of Hanjoora and Mohammad Hussain Dar son of Showkat Ahmad Dar resident of Muqam Dadompora in Chadoora area of Budgam,” police said.
During the scuffle, police said, Mohammad Hussain Dar stabbed Mehrosh Parvaiz in his abdomen thereby receiving critical injuries. “He was shifted to hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.”
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 85/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Chadoora and an investigation was set into motion, police said.
During the investigation, per police, the accused teenager was arrested and further investigation into the case is going on.
