RAJOURI, Sept 3: Chairman Block Doongi, Choudhary Mohammed Azam has demanded immediate payment of relief for the people of five Panchayts of block whose standing crops were totally destroyed in yesterdays hail storm.
In a statement issued here today, he said the maize and paddy crops of the people in five Panchayts of the block including Dongi Dherian, Sasalkot, Agrat East & West and Samla Dhara were fully damaged in hailstorm. He urged the Revenue Department authorities to assess the loss and pay ex-gratia relief to the people.
