RAMBAN, May 17: A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Ramban today submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Ramban regarding various demands of students.
ABVP demanded the construction of foot path(stairs) for students from Karol NH to Ramban Degree College gate and starting College bus service for students as well as black topping of the road from NH to College gate so that the college bus can run smoothly.
ABVP also demanded concession of fare for students in public transport for all the students of District Ramban, construction of building, classrooms and toilets for boys and girls as most of the schools and colleges have no adequate r basic infrastructure for students, like in HSS Kanthi, GDC Ukhral, HSS Dhandrath, etc.
In the memorandum, ABVP also pressed to start NCC in Colleges of District Ramban. The delegation was led by ABVP District Convenor Pooja Chib, ABVP GDC president Akriti Chib , GDC Ramban Secretary Ankush and State joint Secretary Tarun.
