Srinagar, May 17: Police along with Executive Magistrate and Excise department today destroyed poppy cultivation at Seelo area of Sopore.
A police party from Police Station Sopore along with officials of the Excise Department and concerned Executive Magistrate destroyed poppy cultivation spread over a vast area of land in the Seelo area of Sopore.
Accordingly, police said, a case vide FIR No. 98/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and an investigation has been initiated.
