DODA, May 18: Karara and Bhalla Police today arrested two drug peddlers along with cannabis and poppy straw.
As per police sources, a team from Police Post Karara led by Head Constable Mohd Shahnawaz during checking intercepted a person.
During checking, police team recovered 295 grams of cannabis from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Hussain, son of Mohd Ramzan of Domail Bhaderwah.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Post Bhalla led by PSI Ankush Kumar arrested a drug peddler along with 250 grams of poppy straw.
The accused was identified as Mohd Yaseen, son of Mohd Iqbal of Droundi Tehsil Bhalla.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Stations Thathri and Bhaderwah and investigation started.
