JKSAC to launch district level agitation against State, Central Govts

JAMMU, Sept 4: Jammu and Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Gurdeep Singh Pandey and flayed the State and Central Governments for their failure to redress the long pending demands of PoJK DPs of 1947, 1965 and 1971.
While speaking, Pandey warned the State and Central Governments to launch district level agitation against the discrimination meeting out with displaced persons. He said that Government is misleading the displaced persons for the sake of votes.
Ronik Sharma, general secretary and spokesperson demanded additional compensation for delay in settlement, special treatment for employment and settlement of trade, etc.
On the occasion, Davinder Singh has been appointed as district president of Jammu, Manjot Singh as vice president, Amit Singh as general secretary, Harvinder Singh as secretary, Parvinder singh as joint secretary, Baljeet Singh as organizing secretary and Lucky Singh as publicity secretary.
