JAMMU, Sept 4: Police today arrested two persons along with 10 litres of illicit liquor.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah police station led by SHO Narinder Singh conducted raid in a house at Kotli Charakan and arrested two persons along with 10 litres of illicit liquor. Police also destroyed 5000 litres of lahan, which was recovered from the spot, he added.
The accused has been identified as Mangal Dass and Kewal Krishan, sons of Sardari Lal of Kotli Charakan, Bishnah, he informed.
A case under FIR number 114/13 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
