JAMMU, May 19: Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Workers’ Association (JKFMWA) discussed their long pending demands in a meeting held today under the chairmanship of Neelam Kumari, president of the Association.
While addressing the employees, Neelam said that the administrative department of Health & Family Welfare has failed to frame rules of promotions and conduct a departmental promotion committee (promotions) of all categories in the Health Department, which has been pending for the last four years.
She further alleged that the administration failed to resolve the permanent salary issue of Female Multipurpose Workers and other staff getting salaries under Head -2211 Family Welfare. She urged the UT Government to register leftover Government in-service Pharmacists under the new Pharmacy Act 1948 Section 32-C, which was implemented in UT after the abrogation of Article 370.
Neelam urged the employees to participate in strike/Kaam Chhor Hartal on 24-05-2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
