Delegation meets Div Com

JAMMU, May 19: A delegation of Trikuta Nagar Traders Association led by Abhinav Anand, Association president met Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar and raised the problems faced by the traders of Trikuta Nagar.
He brought into the notice of Divisional Commissioner the general grievance of traders including non-availability of basic amenities like electricity and water which has added to the woes of the trading community.
Anand further submitted that the prevalent power crisis has not only thrown the life of public out of gear but the small traders and shopkeepers are also facing severe problems due to this in carrying out their business activities.
He said that tourism industry had suffered a lot in the past but has now attained momentum in view of the recent tourist influx into J&K.
The Divisional Commissioner assured full cooperation in addressing the problems being faced by the traders.
He asked young entrepreneurs to come forward and avail various schemes introduced by the government to foster self employment.
