Disband Apex Committee: JTC

JAMMU, Sept 4: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita has decried the role of Apex Committee and demanded that the same be disbanded immediately as nine members have already resigned from it.
Terming the Apex Committee meeting slated for September 6 noting except an eye wash, the meeting accused it of its total failure in settling the problems of internally displaced people from Valley.
It demanded permanent rehabilitation of migrants in safer places in Valley, filling up of remaining posts under employment package, asked CM to fulfill his promise on providing 10,000 more jobs to migrant youth, sanction of additional 500 posts of class fourth employees for migrants, enhancement of cash assistance, solving of problems of Jagti camp, construction of 160 more shops at Jagti and restoration of proper water and power supply to Jagti.
