SRINAGAR, May 24: Leaders of different political parties have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Police official Saiffullah Qadri and his daughter în Soura area of Srinagar today leading to death of the father.
National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have condemned the killing and prayed for speedy recovery of his 7-year old injured daughter.
“I unequivocally condemn the dastardly killing. Yet another family will have to live with lifelong pain and agony. My heartfelt condolences and sympathies are with the bereaved family,” said Dr Farooq Abdullah.
In his condemnation message, Omar said: “I unequivocally condemn this attack on Constable Saifullah Qadri of J&K Police in which he lost his life.”
NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani and other leaders of the party have also condemned the dastardly act in the strongest possible terms and prayed for speedy recovery to injured girl.
Condemning the attack, Jammu Kashmir Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari expressed great concern over such targetted killings în Kashmir valley în the recent past causing loss of precious lives. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to bereaved family and prayed for early recovery of the injured daughter.
Strongly condemning the attack, JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said that such targetted attacks are part of a nefarious design but the Forces behind such attacks shall never succeed. The Govt must check such attacks and ensure the safety and security of innocent citizens în Kashmir, he said and prayed for eternal peace to martyred cop and courage to bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Chairman People’s Democratic Front (PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has condemned killing of the Policeman and prayed for early recovery of daughter of the martyred cop who also got injured in the dastardly act. He said that due to killing spree of soft targets, the people in Kashmir feel themselves unsafe and insecure helplessly.
