Eight vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, May 24: In five separate cases, eight vehicles involved in illegal mining have been seized by Jammu Police.
According to a police spokesman, while 2 vehicles (tippers bearing registration numbers JK14E-9455 and JK02AP-0265) were seized by a team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, 1 dumper bearing registration number JK02BF-6535 was seized by Police Station Gharota, 1 dumper bearing registration number JK02BF-6535 by Police Post Phallian Mandal, 2 vehicles (one dumper bearing registration number JK02CU-7487 and one tipper bearing registration number JK02CU-1109) by Police Post Canal and 2 vehicles (dumpers bearing registration numbers JK02CT-9260 and JK02CV-7088) were seized by Police Post Bathindi.
The recoveries were made by SHO Police Station Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Vikram Sharma, SHO Police Station Gharota Inspector Rajesh Khajuria, Incharge Police Post Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, Incharge Police Post Canal PSI Amreek Singh and Incharge Police Post Bathindi PSI Mohd Younis Khanday, in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
