SUF resents ban on loud speakers at religious places

JAMMU, May 24: Sikh United Front (SUF) has expressed resentment over the decision to impose ban on the loudspeakers at the religious places in Jammu.
In a meeting of various Sikh bodies and members of SUF held under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Singh Wazir, the speakers showed anguish over ban on loudspeakers in religious worship places by Jammu Municipal Corporation, inspite of opposition by many Corporators. They said the public is astonishing that what type of reforms are being brought by banning loudspeakers used in morning and evening prayers in religious places (Mandir, Masjid and Gurdwaras).
While during election campaigns the loudspeakers make hue and cry all round. The Jammu and Kashmir Sikh United front condemned this order and demanded that the order should be withdrawn at the earliest.
