Syscon to launch Samsung Brand Shop

KOCHI, Aug 6:  Syscon,claiming to run one of the largest electronic distribution networks in Central Asia, including the Middle East, West Africa ad the CIS region, is launching its operations in the county with the inauguration of the the South India’s ‘largest’ Samsung Brand shop here today.
Informing this at a news conference here last night, Syscon Chairman and Managing Director George Jacob said ‘Syscon is entering India’s competitive consumer electronics market with Saumung Brands Shops.
‘In the First phase, the company will be investing around Rs 150 crore in India.’
The company started in 2001 and already had operations in 21 countries, including Zimbabwe,Ethiopia, Gabob, Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria, Nurkina Faso, and Djinouti besides India, he added.
Stating Syscon runs the largest retain chain in the CIS Region, he claimed his company was enjoying 90 per cent market share in this sector with the widest network of showroms and crossed Rs 3,000 crore in total turnover.
Mr George also said his company was planning to set up a wide network of 21 new ouotlets and expand to other regions across South India soon.
