JAMMU, May 28: City Police arrested a man for burglary in a shop while hunt is going on to nab four others.
As per police sources, a joint complaint was lodged by Shakuntla Devi, wife of Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Atul Gupta, son of Bharat Bhushan Gupta and Shalini Devi, daughter of Bharat Bhushan Gupta, all residents of Trikuta Nagar Jammu with Police Station City stating that Ashok Kumar Gupta, Sonali Gupta, Sunny Gupta, Shalinder Sharma and Himanshu entered into his shop titled M/s AK Gulshan Kumar at Mohalla Malhotra District Jammu and had stolen all the stock after breaking the locks.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 30/2022 under Section 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station City and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station City led by SHO Inspector Rakesh Sharma arrested one of the aforesaid persons identified as Himanshu, while hunt for four others is going on.
Further investigation into the case is also going on.
