Five notorious criminals arrested with sharp edged weapons, heroin

JAMMU, May 29: Miran Sahib and BPP Kullian foiled murder plots by arresting five notorious criminals along with sharp edged weapons and heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and assisted by Incharge Border Police Post (BPP) ASI Ranjeet Singh during checking apprehended two pedestrians, who were heading towards Kullian from Kirpind.
During checking, police team recovered two sharp edged weapons from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Arjun Kumar and Sachin Kumar, both sons of Gopal Dass, resident of Khour Deonian Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 57/22 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
Meanwhile, the similar police team during checking at Kullian intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BS-7176, which was coming from RS Pura to Kullian.
During frisking, police team recovered 11 grams of heroin and 3 sharp edged weapons from the possession of three persons riding on the bike and arrested them.
The accused were identified as Paramjeet Kumar alias Chungi, son of Devi Dass of RS Pura District Jammu, Deepak Kumar, son of Dayal Chand of Khour Deonian Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu and Gulshan Kumar, son of Raj Kumar of Dablear RS Pura District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that Paramjeet Kumar is a notorious gangster and many cases stands registered against him in different police stations across Jammu District.
A case under FIR Number 58/2022 Sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
It is also presumed that all these notorious criminals were on their way to eliminate their rivals. However, with the arrest police foiled murder plots.
