JAMMU, May 29: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration against PHE Department for no water supply in the city due to strike of daily wagers.
The protest was led by Sunil Dimple, MSJK president who extended full support to the agitation of daily wagers demanding regularisation of their jobs.
The protesters including women and children carried empty buckets and pots and raised slogans demanding regular water supply.
Dimple urged upon J&K LG, Manoj Sinha to regularize all the daily wagers as they are awaiting the same for the last more than twenty years.
The protestors included Rekha Devi, Veena Devi, Sharda Kumari, Rajinder, Tarsem, Bitto, Raju Kumar and others.
