JAMMU, May 31: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in Jammu conducted a campus placement drive as part of its Professional Social Responsibility which focusses on building a leading academic link for YCET students.
The placement drive for Flipkart was conducted through YCET.
A total of 87 students participated in the drive out of which 21 were shortlisted for the 1st round in the event. At the end of the grueling selection process, which included group discussion, personal interviews, etc. four students, namely Sahil Sharma, Ruwaid Musharraf Baba, Sahil Mattoo and Muneeb Banda were selected. These students will join their with an annual package of Rs 3 lakh.
The program was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Many officials from the company and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process.
Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology is leading the effort to give the students of Jammu a chance to have a firsthand experience of placement drives.
The students did practice a lot for the preparation of drives and the college arranged many workshops for students on the latest topics.
Punit Kumar – HR hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Renu Bangroo and Chief Coordinator B.R Verma congratulated the selected students. The placement drive was coordinated by the HODs of different departments and Assistant Training & Placement officer Manjula Sharma whereas the placement drive was organized by Dinesh Gupta, Head, Training and Placement Cell of YCET.
