JAMMU, May 31: Satwari Police arrested a priest for sexually assaulting a minor girl.
As per police sources, on a complaint a priest namely as Raju Pandit, a resident of Billawar District Kathua, at present Gangyal District Jammu, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl.
After conducting medical examination, the minor girl was handed over to legal heirs.
A case FIR Number 100/2022 under Sections 354-B and 9/10 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
