J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI organizes workshop

Delegates expressing views during workshop at Jammu on Saturday. -Excelsior/Rakesh

JAMMU, Sept 7: J&K Branch of Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted a workshop pertaining to various topics including Companies Act as recently amended by the Parliament, domestic transfer pricing, etc.
The workshop was organised by J&K branch in association with Committee for Capacity Building of Small and Medium Practitioners (CCBC&SMP) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The topics deliberated in the seminar were related to Domestic Transfer Pricing, recently enacted Companies Act, etc.
Dalip K Kaul, Chairman J&K branch of NIRC of ICAI presented the welcome address and initiated the topics of the workshop and highlighted their significance.
On the occasion, Naveen ND Gupta, Member Central Council ICAI and Chairman CCBC&SMP, Arun Saxena and Vikas Balia were the guest speakers.
All the speakers deliberated in detail and enlightened the members about the various important aspects of the topics.
Anil Sharma, Secretary conducted the proceedings of the workshop programme, whereas Vikram Garg, Vice Chairman of the Branch presented vote of thanks.
Among others present were Shalay Razdan, treasurer, Sandeep Pachnanda and Deepak Kapahi, members of Executive Committee and Chartered Accountants.
