JAMMU, June 1: A man was killed while three others sustained injuries in accident at Bikram Chowk here today.
As per police sources, a rashly driven bus hit two motorcycles at Bikram Chowk, resulting into injuries to four persons.
After getting information, a team from Nehru Market Police Post led by SI Rohit Gandhi immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where one of the injured succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Raj Mangotra of Talab Tillo District Jammu, while the injured were identified as Naresh Kumar of Panjtirthi, Amarjeet Singh and his wife Rubina Choudhary, both residents of RS Pura District Jammu.
The driver of the bus identified as Manohar Lal has been arrested.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
