Srinagar, June 1: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today suspended a sanitary inspector of ward 2, Lal chowk, for dereliction of duties and for showing poor performance.
As per the directions of the Commissioner SMC, Athar Amir Khan an order vide order No 673 dated 1.6.2022 was issued in this regard.
Commissioner said that the prime concern and major responsibility of SMC is sanitation “and any person or concerned official found nonserious in performing his duties will face similar action for dereliction of his duties.”
