BJP leaders join Shiv Sena, Katra unit expanded

JAMMU, June 1: Shiv Sena here today announced expansion of its Katra Tehsil unit along with the State unit with an aim to boost activism of party leaders in view of upcoming Assembly elections.
The announcement was made by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K at a joining programme in which some BJP leaders joined the Party.
On this occasion Sahni appointed Mohan Lal Lakhotra and Vinay Abrol, who were in BJP, as Shiv Sena chairmen of Tehsil Katra.
He welcomed the new entrants into Party folds by presenting them Shiv Bandhan and Nishan.
While announcing the expansion of the State unit, Sahni appointed senior leaders Jatindra Arora and Dalip Arora as vice presidents; Gopal Dogra and Madan Mangotra, as secretaries; Vinod Dogra, Joginder Sharma and Satish Walia, as joint secretaries and Deepak Kumar and Ankit Arora as secretary youth unit.
These leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of expanding the Party in Kud, Patnitop, Batote, Udhampur, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts.
On this occasion general secretary, Vikas Bakshi and Prabhari, Ashwani Prabhakar were also present.
