DODA, June 1: Gandoh Police seized 9 vehicles under Motor Vehicle (MV) Act here today.
As per police sources, a police party of Police Station Gandoh led by SHO Inspector Vikram Singh and assisted by PSI Arhie Bhushan In-charge Police Post Changa initiated a massive drive on the checking of vehicles in Gandoh area.
During the drive, 8 Maruti Eeco and 1 Alto car were seized under MV Act in contravention of RC and overloading.
It is pertinent to mention here that Doda Police has taken the initiative under ‘Operation Bachav’ where under various preventive measures are being taken besides strict action against the traffic violators to control the road accidents.
