BJYM’s Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra to reach Jammu today

JAMMU, June 2: A team of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which is on a pan-India Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra, is arriving Jammu tomorrow for a four-day study tour of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
This was informed by BJYM Media Incharge, J&K, Chetan Wanchoo while addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today in the presence of Yuva Morcha’s State President Arun Prabhat, BJYM National Media Incharge S Amandeep Singh, State Secretary BJP and Tour guardian Ajay Pargal,
He said that a team of BJYM functionaries from all over the country will visit Akhnoor Fort and Jia Pota Ghat and World Heritage Buddhist site Ambaran after their arrival in Jammu tomorrow. They will also have a heritage walk to Hari Palace Museum and Raghunath Ji temple.
Arun Prabhat said the Bharat Darshan Sushasan Yatra has been initiated by BJYM to introduce its members to the country’s cultural diversity, traditions and historical richness by experiential tours to different places. The Yatra was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Bengaluru on April 1.
On June 4, the team will hold a detailed interaction with West Pakistan Refugees (WPRs) and border people at R S Pura. After this interaction, the visiting team of BJYM will witness Beating Retreat Ceremony at Suchetgarh on the International Border to study the changing scenario in terms of development and tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
“They will also have an interaction with Gorkha and Valmiki Samaj who were the victims of Article 370 and Article 35-A. The members of these communities will brief the visiting team as how their lives have changed post-abrogation of Article 370,” Singh said, adding the team is also planned to have a detailed interaction with the Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation over the implementation of major projects being executed under Jammu Smart City Projects.
On the third day of their visit, the BJYM team will conduct a tour of Reasi district and have sightseeing IIT, IIM and Jambu Zoo. “They will also visit the site of highest railway bridge at Kauri in Reasi district and Salal Hydro electric power project. They are also planned to visit Bhimgarh Fort before leaving for Sanasar hill station where they will be the part of a cultural programme”, he said.
