JAMMU, June 3: Five persons including two women were injured after a car hit a parapet near Ban Toll Plaza here today, police sources said.
The injured were identified as Biro Devi, wife of Ramesh Kumar, Rakesh Sharma, son of Janak Raj, Manik Sharma, son of Ramesh Lal, Ramesh Kumar, son of Bishambar Dass and Geeta Devi, wife of Deep Kumar, all resident of Majua District Jammu.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured persons were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where they were undergoing treatment when last reports poured in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation initiated to ascertain the cause of the accident.
