UDHAMPUR, June 3: A pedestrian was knocked to death by an unidentified motorcycle at Manwal, here today.
The deceased was identified as Satinder Singh (45), son of Vakil Singh, resident of Manwal, who was working as denter-painter of vehicles.
According to the police, the deceased was hit by an unknown motorcycle when he was walking on the road at Manwal. Some locals rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries.
After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, Police handed over the dead body to family members for last rites while a case has been registered in this connection.
