Mayor, BJP leader dedicate newly constructed lane, drain

JAMMU, June 4: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria dedicated a newly constructed lane and drain at Ward Number 56 Ekta Vihar in Jammu South-RS Pura constituency.
This work was executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at a cost of about Rs 6 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that during an interaction with locals, it was found that the area was denied for almost 15 year for development work.
Mayor said that under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi India has been now enlisted into the developing nations and tremendous development has been observed in all the sectors and segments of Jammu city.
Billawaria said that it was the long pending demands of the locals as the drains in the area were in dilapidated condition for a long time and the residents were facing a lot of problems while moving through these lanes.
On the occasion, Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Ekta Vihar demanded installation of an entry gate in Ekta Vihar main entrance.
While assuring the Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members, Billawaria said that the demand of the entry gate of Ekta Vihar would also be fulfilled soon.
He said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation under the supervision of Mayor Chandra Mohan Gupta is continuously working to give better development while they are trying to make Jammu a clean and smart city.
Billawaria said that development is the priority of BJP and the party is for all round development in every region, so that the last man in the last queue is benefitted.
Gurdwara Singh Sabha President Harbhajan Singh, Ranjit Singh, Mulkh Raj, Harpal Singh Bali, Prem Singh, Captain Amrik Singh, Rinku Singh, Sajjan Singh, Baldev Singh, Swaran Singh, Harbhajan Singh (Bhajju), Raghu Singh and Hardeep Singh were present on the occasion.
