KATRA, June 7: Once the most favourite hotel for film stars, dignitaries and devotees where shooting of several movies had taken place, is all set to be re-opened in new avatar as `The Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico’.
It will be inaugurated on June 9 by Managing Director Sarovar Hotels & Resorts Ajay Bakaya & Chairman Katra Mata Vaishno Devi Hotels & Restaurants Pvt Ltd.( KMVDHRPL ) & Head of Wazir family Pushpa Devi. It took almost two years in giving new shape to the hotel by complete modernization, renovation and diversification.
Rakesh Wazir, Managing Director KMVD Hotels & Restaurants Pvt Ltd said that this hotel is spread in 1.5 acres and situated at the entrance of Katra, adjoining SMVD Shrine Board Central office, 500 meters before Katra Bus Stand and 550 meters from newly made Railway Station.
