SRINAGAR, Sept 9: On the instructions of Chief Justice of High Court M. M Kumar and Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir, Judge Incharge e-Court Committee, High Court, Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Justice Tashi Rabstan, Members, e-Committee High Court of J&K, inaugurated training programme on “Case Information System (CIS)” for the J&K Sub-ordinate Court officials of Kashmir Province at J&K State Judicial Academy Mominabad, here.
Court officials of Kashmir Division were imparted training on use of Case Information System developed by e-Committee, Supreme Court of India. The training was conducted by District System Administrator/ Master Trainers Sajad Iqbal, Prince Liaqat Ali Khan and Imran Nazeer Shah.
Khalil Choudhary, Central Project Co-ordinator (e-Courts), High Court of J&K harmonized these “Training Programs” for the Court officials of the State. He expressed that the key purpose of the Training Program is digitization of routine Judicial and Administrative tasks on computer
According to Mr Choudhary, Case Information System (CIS) is a software developed by e-Committee Supreme Court of India and will assist Judicial administration in tracking the progress of an individual case and provide common man the facility to get current status of the individual’s case through citizen interface provided in the CIS application.
Such programs will enhance the confidence of Court Officials in making use of ICT tools and will help them in making speedy justice delivery system.
Pankaj Gupta Deputy Registrar State Judicial Academy, was also present during the training session at State Judicial Academy Mominabad, Srinagar. The e-Court Mission Mode Project technical Staff of High Court of J&K, Srinagar Wing namely Mohammad Uzair (Sr. System Officer), Shahnawaz Wani (System Officer) and Rizwan Khan (System Assistant) extended all the technical support in making the program successful. Pawan Verma and Tanveer was also present during occasion.
