JAMMU, Sept 9: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced the candidates for forthcoming Parliamentary and Assembly polls.
Addressing a press conference Narinder Kumar Kashyap, National general secretary and in-charge Jammu and Kashmir, BSP, announced the name of Dharm Paul Balgotra as election contesting candidate for Udhampur-Kathua Parliame-ntary seat.
Kashyap also nominated the names of candidates for Assembly seats, which included Amit Langeh from Ramban seat, Prof Sukh Chand from Ramnagar, Sanjay Bhagat from Bhaderwah and Mohmmad Ali Sohail from Banihal seat.
He said that BSP will announce the names of other candidates for the Parliamentary and Assembly elections soon.
Kashyap stated that BSP has unanimously nominated the name of Balgotra for the upcoming parliamentary elections as he is also awarded with the Life Time Award and is dedicated with full zeal for the upliftment and welfare of party as well as the people of the State.
He expressed his grave concern over the Uttar Pradesh communal clash and criticized Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for his absolute failure in maintaining law and order in the State.
Kashyap also raised the issue of bifurcating the State and condemned the State Coalition Government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over the Kishtwar Communal clashes.
