JAMMU, June 9: Jhajjar Kotli Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested her abductor.
As per police sources on June 6 this year a written application was lodged by a person at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli in which he alleged that minor daughter aged around 16 years has been kidnapped by a person identified as Karan Singh, son of Dev Raj of RS Pura District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 134/2022 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
After gathering technical information and human source, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar rescued the kidnapped girl from RS Pura and arrested the abductor.
After completing legal formalities, the minor girl was handed over to her parents.
Further investigation into the case is also going on.
