Global crude oil price of Indian basket decline to $112.26/bbl

 

NEW DELHI, Sept 10: The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined marginally to 112.26 dollars per barrel (bbl) on September 9, an official statement said  today.

   This was lower than the price of 112.56 dollars/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of September 6, Ministry  of Petroleum and Natural Gas said.

   In rupee terms also, the crude oil price decreased to  Rs 7,404.67 per bbl on September 9 as compared to Rs 7,424.46 /bbl on September 6, it said.

   “This was due to price decreased in dollar terms,”  it  added.

   Rupee dollar exchange rate on September 9 at Rs 65.96/dollar was same as prevailing on previous trading day of  September 6, the statement added.

   The international crude oil price of Indian basket is computed and published by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
