Poonch observes shutdown

POONCH, June 11: Poonch town and its adjoining areas observed complete shutdown in protest against alleged derogatory remarks on Prophet Mohammad.
Call for the bandh was given by Aulma e Ahle Sunnat and other Muslim organizations. All business establishments remained closed and commercial vehicle also did not ply on the roads.
The administration had made elaborate security arrangements and deployed magistrates in different areas to maintain law and order situation.
