RAJOURI, June 11: Following electrocution of a daily wager of Power Development Department at Darhal, locals held a strong protest demonstration demanding compensation to family of the deceased.
The deceased, identified as Mohd Javed Malik, son of Mohd Sadiq Malik, resident of Chowkian Darhal, was repairing 11 KV line and suddenly got severe shock. He was shifted to hospital where he died.
Following the death, locals held a strong protest demanding job and compensation for the family of deceased. Later, Executive Engineer PDD, SDPO Thanamandi and DDC Iqbal Malik visited the spot and assured necessary help to family of the deceased.
