JAMMU, June 12: Senior BJP leader and former Minister Bali Bhagat today flagged off a bike rally to celebrate eight years of Modi Government in the country.
Led by Deepak Pandey, BJYM Rural President, Jammu, the bike rally started from Muthi and culminated at Government Degree College Marh, giving a message of unprecedented development in Jammu and Kashmir under eight years of Modi regime.
Speaking on the occasion, Bali Bhagat said unprecedented development has taken place over the last eight years in Jammu and Kashmir. “People are witness to the massive development since 2014 which was not seen in the last more than seven decades,” he said.
The Former Minister said that eight years of Modi Government have been devoted to Seva, Garib Kalyan and Sushasan, so we have to ensure that people are taking proper benefit of the schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojna, Ujwala Yojna, Ujala Yojna, Pradan Mantri Awas Yojna, Pradan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojna, Mudra Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Fassal Bhima Yojna, etc.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to mitigate problems of the people and give them respite from miseries which they are facing in the last over seventy years”, he said, adding that central dispensation has provided surplus funds for the development works across the Union Territory and that is the reason behind irresistible development trail going on in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bali Bhagat exhorted upon party cadre to spread the policies and programmes of BJP to encourage the people towards the party.
Among others who accompanied Bali Bhagat were former MLC Vikram Randhawa, District President Rajinder Singh Chib, Capt (Retd) KL Sharma, Mukesh Sharma and Omi Khajuria.
