DDC Member, Cong leader join BJP

RAJOURI, June 12: Senior Congress leader and elected DDC Member from Thanamandi area of district Rajouri today along with workers joined BJP at a rally here, today in presence of party president, Ravinder Raina, its general secretary, Vibodh Gupta former MP, Talib Hussain and other senior leaders including Kuldeep Raj Gupta and DDC Member Dhral Mohd Iqbal Malik.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina welcomed the new entrants into the BJP family. He said that Mohd Qayoom Mir has very strong hold in Pahari community in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
Raina said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has made a permanent niche in the hearts of common masses and the people have developed strong faith that he will transform the nation into major power centre of the world.
He also threw light on various development works initiated by Modi led Union Government for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir and the plethora of schemes that have benefitted people on the grass root level.
Vibodh Gupta spoke on the achievements of Modi Government and particularly the schemes providing benefits to the people of Pahari belt. He also spoke on the various programmes being conducted in the region on occasion of the completion of eight years of people friendly Modi Government.
Kuldeep Gupta threw light on the importance of strong organizational structure in the region.
Iqbal Malik spoke of the unprecedented development that has taken place in Rajouri under the strong leadership of Modi Government.
Talib Hussian Choudhary highlighted the role of BJP in the upliftment of all the communities of the region irrespective of region or religion.
Senior BJP Leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Dinesh Sharma, Subesh Sharma Umair Malik, Rakesh Raina, Ranjeet Tara, Koushal Gupta, BJYM President Harish Bharti, Mamta Dutt addressed the rally.
