SRINAGAR, June 13: The Kashmir unit of the BJP today organized a bike rally to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the BJP-led Government in the country.
The bike procession was held from Gupkar to Shalimar Garden in Srinagar to mark the country’s eight years of BJP rule. The rally drew large numbers of BJP supporters. The rally was part of the “Seva Sushasan Garib Kalyaan” celebration, which was held to commemorate Modi’s eight years in power.
The ceremony, which was organized by District president Ashok Bhat, was also attended by Sunil Sharma, Arif Raja, and Bilal Ahmed Parray.
Sunil Sharma, the BJP’s Kashmir in charge, told reporters at the event that the Valley’s youth want peace and development and urged them to join the party to achieve it. “The BJP is holding events across the country to commemorate the Modi administration’s various developmental achievements. The Vikas Terath bike rally is one example of this, which commemorates the progress made by the Modi government over the years. No other government has accomplished as much development as the Modi administration has done in the last eight years. The bike rally was organized in order to bring development work to the people,” he said.
He urged the Valley’s youth to join the BJP and demonstrate that they simply desire progress. “We want the youth to take up the BJP flag and send a message to the rest of the country from Kashmir that the people here want development. This will defeat terrorism,” he said.
