RAJOURI, June 13: The MBBS students of Govt Medical College Rajouri held protest at the College gate for non- availability of adequate power and water supply in the hostel.
MBBS students inclining girl students closed both gates of the hospital and then started protesting today. They complained that shortage of power and water in hostel is affecting their studies.
MBBS students said that during these hot summer days, they are facing many problems due to lack of water and power supply in the hostel.
Students said that the lady officer who has been given the look-after charge as Principal GMC Rajouri is hardly available. She does not know about the problems of the students.
The students said that the essential items which they need in the hostel, are not bought at all, unnecessary items are purchased from market by the Administration. The student demanded that they must be shifted in their own hostel and administration have to provide adequate transport facility so that student can reach college well in time.
They appealed the Administration to provide water and power supply to hostel to minimize their sufferings.
