REASI, June 13: Police today arrested three gamblers from Pouni area and recovered stake money of Rs 40,000 from their possession.
Reports said that acting on specific information about gambling in the jurisdictional area of Pouni, special team of Police Station Pouni conducted raids at Bharakh Nalla area and arrested gamblers along with the stake money.
The arrested accused were identified as Ajeet Singh of Bharakh, Tehsil Pouni , Rakesh Kumar of Keri Teryath and Raj Kumar of Kotla Ransoo. A case has been registered in this connection.
The Police party was led by Insp Vijay Sharma, SHO Pouni, under the supervision of Dysp Hqtrs Reasi Iftkhar Ahmed.
