Pakistani among 2 militants killed in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, June 13: Two militants of LeT outfit were killed while as a cop was injured in a swift encounter in Bemina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district this evening.
Police while informing on its official Twitter handle said that in a swift encounter by Srinagar police, two LeT militants were killed while one cop sustained injury in Bemina area of Srinagar.
“Two #terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT neutralised by Srinagar Police in a swift #encounter in Bemina area of #Srinagar. One policeman also received minor injury: IGP Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
The Kashmir Police Zone while quoting IGP Kashmir, wrote on twitter “As per the documents and other incriminating materials, one of the killed militants has been identified as Abdullah Goujri, resident of Faisalabad, Pakistan. A big success,”.
In another tweet they wrote,”This was the same group of militants, who escaped from Sopore encounter. We had been tracking their movement,”.
It’s pertinent to mention here that in Sopore gunfight one militant was killed while as two militants had managed to escape from the encounter site.
