JAMMU, June 14: Rekha Mahajan, secretary, BJP Jammu & Kashmir and coordinator, Seva, Sushasan aur Gareeb Kalyan Pakwada for district Akhnoor, on the concluding day of 15 days Public Outreah Programme, today reached Khandawali Mandal of Chhamb Assembly constituency, interacted with a large number of people in Serh and Sajuual Panchayats and shared achievements of Modi Government in last eight years.
She was accompanied by Sangathan Mantri Jammu- Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Inderjeet Sharma ,district president, Akhnoor, Jagdish Bhagat, Mandal president, Jagan Nath, DDC Vice Chairman, Suraj Singh and DDC Member Bhushan Bral.
During this last leg of door to door campaign in Khandawali Mandal, Rekha Mahajan, distributed pamphlets and “report to nation” booklet among the people of the Panchayats, along with other leaders accompanying her.
She, while speaking to the people, said that Modi Government has benefited every section of the society in the last eight years through various schemes launched by it. It dedicated numerous schemes to ensure dignity of poor by providing more than three crore households under PMAY AwasYojna, free gas connections to 9.17 crore women under Ujjwala Yojna, constructed 11.5 crore toilets under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ,9.5 crore households provided tap water under Har Ghar Jal and electricity connections to 2.8 crore households under Saubhagya Scheme.
Inderjeet Sharma said that benefits of schemes are now reaching directly in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana.
Jagdish Bhagat said that the Modi Government is working with the objective that everyone should get the benefit of welfare schemes. Suraj Singh said that people across the country have themselves witnessed massive development and welfare related programmes and policies.
Bhushan Bral said that whatever has been done in eight years in Modi Government for development of border areas and security of the people living there has induced a sense of security among them.
District vice president, Anu Manhas, district general secretary, Surinder Singh, district office incharge, K.D. Sharma, Yuva Morcha Mandal president, Suresh Sharma, SC Morcha president, Bishan Lal, Shakti Kendra Pramukh, Darshan Singh, Sarpanch Janak Verma were also present on the occasion.
