RAJOURI, June 15: The police in Nowshera Sub Division of Rajouri foiled a narcotics smuggling bid and recovered heroine from two peddlers.
A Police spokesman said that in drive against drug menace, patrolling party of Police Post Lamberi while checking in Lamberi area apprehended two persons namely Rajinder Kumar alias Raghu, son of Puran Singh, resident of Kot Morah, Akhnoor and Vishal Singh alias Vishu, son of Karan Singh, resident of Akhnoor in Jammu district.
During checking police recovered nearly 10 grams of heroin from Rajinder Kumar and seven grams of same contraband from the possession of Vishal Singh. A case was registered against them.
