UDHAMPUR, June 16: A three-storeyed house was gutted in an accidental fire at village Childu Paddar in Dudu, Basantgarh Tehsil, here this morning.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone in the incident but the wooden house was completely gutted in the blazes.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the house of Manjur Ahmed, son of Sher Ali of Childu Paddar in Dudu, Basantgarh area this morning around 8:30 am. As there is no fire brigade facility in this hilly area, family members with the help of locals tried to control the blazes and also called the Dudu Police.
Even as Incharge Police Post Dudu, SI Tanvinder Singh immediately rushed to the spot along with police force, the three-storeyed wooden house reduced to ashes as fire could not be controlled.
Later, SDM Dudu, Kul Raj Singh also reached the spot and assessed the damage, Local Sarpanch Hans Raj appealed to the District Administration and SDM Dudu for immediate and adequate relief to the affected family.
