POONCH, June 16: A residential house was completely gutted due to lightning in at Darmiyana Ban area of Loran Block in Mandi last night.
Official sources said that during heavy rain and thunderstorm last night, lightning struck a three storey house of Din Mohd, son of Mir Baaz, which turned into ashes after some time. House owner said that he has suffered huge loss and urged administration to provide compensation at the earliest.
Station House Officer, Loran Inspector Sajid when contacted said that a police team rushed on spot and witnesses that three story house was burnt during night hours due to lightning.
