POONCH, June 17: Floral tribute were paid to Major Rohit Sharma in a simple function organized by a local NGO in Govt Higher Secondary School, Mandi on the death anniversary of the martyr.
Brigade Commander Poonch, BDC Chairperson Mandi, DDC Member Loran, Commanding Officers of some Army units, several sectoral officers along with prominent people of the area were present on the occasion.
Floral tribute were paid to Major Rohit Sharma who attained martyrdom during an operation in Sathra area of Poonch in 1998.
