Birth anniversary celebrations of Bhagwan Chanderji begin

SRINAGAR, Sept 11: To mark the 519th birth anniversary of prominent saint of 15th century,  Bhagwan Shri Chanderji, a number of religious programmes and rituals are being performed by Shri Chander Chinar Bada Akhara Udasin Trust Ashram situated at Residency Road, Regal Chowk, Srinagar.
The celebrations began this morning  with Shri Ganpati Poojan,  Chandji Poojan and Rudra Abhishek in the temple premises. The Mandal Poojan and Rudra Abhishek will be performed tomorrow while on September 13, special Abhishek and Poojan of Idols will be performed.
The Havan, Yagya Poojan and Katha-Satsang, Keertan will be held on September 14  in the morning which will be followed by a grand Bhandara (Langer) from 1 pm onwards.
All these  programmes are being held under the aegis of Mahant Shri Chandra Swamiji Udasin, who is also head of the Trust.
